Gift aid
If you are a UK tax payer, you can make your donation(s) go even further, at no cost to you, simply by signing a Gift Aid declaration.
Basic tax rate: Gift aid allows us to claim an extra 28% on top of your donation from the Inland Revenue and other government sources. This means that for every £10 you give, Elizabeth FitzRoy Support will receive a further £2.80.
Higher rate tax: If you pay the higher rate, you can also claim tax relief on your gift. This is the difference between the higher rate (currently 40%) and the basic rate (currently 20%). You can receive up to £23 on a donation of £100 by declaring all gift aid donations on your self assessment tax form.
A gift aid declaration can be made on both the regular and single donation forms.
