College
Rob, who attends On Track in Petersfield, was awarded with a certificate and trophy by Highbury College. He has successfully completed a course on “Supported Work Skills”.
Some of the courses frequently accessed by our service users are organised in the Day Centre. The IT Room is an ideal environment for learning. The touch screens and height adjustable desks ensure that wheelchair users can join in comfortably, which may not always be the case if the course is run exclusively at a local college.
Our minibuses are often used when those wanting to access college course are not able to travel on public transport. Support is also offered in the care homes for people wishing to complete college work. Over the past 3 years, we have fundraised to provide computers and internet access for service users at many of our services.
