All of our Day Services offer regular drama sessions which culminate in performances either at the Day Centre or in local venues. Some join in with local drama groups for disabled people, and jointly organise a local event.
Often many service users are involved in the productions, even if they don’t want to be on stage. Costume design, artwork and props are produced within other sessions at the Day Centres.
The Maltings in Fakenham, Norfolk, recently put on a “Summer Spectacular”, which included percussion and poetry, and a performance of “Babes in the Wood”. Over 100 people, many of them family and friends, attended this lively show at nearby Hempton Hall.
