Silver Birches Resource Centre

The Centre is used by both the residents of Silver Birches Care Home, and also by others from the local community.
Activities are based both at the Centre and locally, and the Centre is also used as a social area for people to meet up.
Drama, art, music and sports are the key activities. Members also like to use the local hydrotherapy pool and participate in the companion cycling sessions at a local park.
The Centre has two sensory rooms as well as a large garden with trampoline, summer house, barbecue and sensory plants area.
A popular activity is to visit a local horticulture project at some nearby allotments. These have raised beds to suit wheelchair users who are keen on gardening.
