Donec was Elizabeth FitzRoy Support’s very first home. It is a large, old house which is now showing its age and limitations. The re-provision of support for Donec residents is the next stage of a major re-development programme which will see the building of 3 brand new, 5 bedroom linked houses built in the garden of the current home, which will subsequently be sold.
The new accommodation will provide a more appropriate environment, with greater opportunities for independence. Other similar re-development projects have already proved highly successful, bringing great benefits to those involved.
Donec residents will continue to live life to the full according to their particular preferences, following their own individual interests, both at home and out in the local community.
