Elizabeth FitzRoy Support

Volunteering

Elizabeth FitzRoy Support welcomes the massive contribution of practical help and companionship which our Volunteers bring to the people we support. Many of our services involve Volunteers as home visitors, activities assistants, group supporters, drivers and gardeners from a couple of hours a month to several days each week.

Our Volunteer scheme is structured to ensure that people are well-matched to the volunteer roles and given time to get to know us and become familiar with our values.

People volunteer with us for different reasons – trying out a new vocation, using their skills, sharing their interests, re-gaining confidence in the workplace or just having fun. Whatever the purpose, it’s important to us that they feel appreciated and find volunteering immensely satisfying and worthwhile.

Volunteers’ Week 1 – 7 June

Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. Festivities will be taking place across the country and of course we’ll be joining in by celebrating our own team of volunteers.
