Elizabeth FitzRoy Support is delighted to have its Investor in People accreditation renewed, for the fourteenth consecutive year.

The assessment process includes interviews with staff at all levels of the organisation. Feedback included comments on how staff value the opportunities the charity gives for staff to achieve national qualifications and other specialised training that will support them in their role, and also praised the induction offered to new staff who join the service to enable them to be effective.

Staff also commented on the staff forum which offers consultation for staff at all levels in the organisation as well as positively rating the organisation as an employer (the majority of people ranked the company a four or five, with five being “excellent”. “Its not the best paid job I’ve ever had” one staff member commented “but I love it!”.

Assessors commented “Both assessors were tremendously impressed by the commitment and care shown by staff toward the service users. Clearly, people understand the values of Elizabeth FitzRoy Support believe in them and demonstrate them on a daily basis”.

The charity has also achieved Exor accreditation for Social Care Provision as part of the Supporting People Framework. Exor accreditation enables Elizabeth FitzRoy Support to manage elements of social care procurement processes. The accreditation process focused in particular on issues relating to safety, including health and safety and insurances.

They demonstrate that Elizabeth FitzRoy Support has a clear commitment to quality and safety, both in supporting our workforce and in developing our services, enabling us to support adults with learning difficulties and promote positive outcomes for them”.
